Al Rio Tribute Art Book Volume OneThis is Terry Maltos. I was Al Rio's business partner and friend for almost 10 years. He died unexpectedly in 2012. This Kickstarter campaign was a success!
Volume One is the first in a series of books I'm producing to showcase his incredible artwork.
Al Rio was a very prolific artist! Over the years we shared dozens of projects and I have hundreds of scans of his work to share. This is Volume 1 of what could be a 3 or 4 volume series in which I've chosen some of the best and most representative images of his work.
I'm starting back in 2003 and going up to 2005 in this Volume. Material in this collection is mature. There are no nudes but there is some pinups which may be considered "risqué."

There will be many penciled pieces, inked pieces, and pieces colored by the long time colorist partner Thomas Mason.
